BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER/Bioinformatics for Personalized Medicine

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA

 

We have a great pleasure to collaborate with a Company focused on enhancing Life Sciences with cutting-edge technologies and domain expertise.

Our Client, an European company in AI & Bioinformatics for Personalized Medicine, is growing rapidly and in a process of expanding their business. They are preparing own product pipeline in the field of precision medicine.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Business Development Manager to be a key customer interface for Life Sciences. The Business Development Manager will actively cultivate new accounts and propose new markets for Clients growing services and products in Life Sciences technologies. This is a chance to work with energetic and determined people on some ground-breaking projects.

 

DUTIES:

• Developing and managing relationships with current and potential biotech/big pharma clients - working directly with current and potential clients to understand the fundamental challenges of their businesses.
• Sourcing new prospects, keeping complete, current knowledge of target organizations including their current therapeutic pipeline, organizational chart, purchasing and procurement preferences, financials, public statements, etc.
• Taking part in global Life Science conferences, exhibitions and various business travels to develop new collaborations and support existing clients.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• PhD in Life Science related discipline – biotechnology, bioinformatics etc.
• Experience in sales within biotech/big pharma sector, including new business generation - necessary
• Broad knowledge of the bioinformatics and molecular biology, with basic level knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in general would be an advantage.
