Business Development Strategist/Consultant – Next-Generation Sequencing
Location: remote (Europe)


Together with an innovative, Polish biotech company we are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Strategist or Consultant, who will help our Client in expanding their business to new segments and markets. The successful Candidate will help to plan the strategy and perform business development activities on the European market to find and explore new directions for the Company’s services and solutions in Next-Generation Sequencing.


Key Tasks:
·       Co-development of sales strategy for Company’s services in diagnostics, NGS, bioinformatics for biotech and food sectors;
·       Performing market analysis to find relevant opportunities for the Company to explore;
·       Building and maintaining collaborations with industrial partners and research institutions in Poland and EU;
·       Making presentations to Company’s Board on potential business opportunities;
·       Readiness to build a dedicated sales structure at the Company.
 
 
Requirements:
·       Degree in life sciences (PhD would be an advantage);
·       International experience in sales of research services for biotech/pharma/food sectors;
·      In-depth understanding of research processes related to sequencing technology and diagnostics, solid knowledge of the market, its trends and legal and commercial environment;
·       Strong leadership experience in building and developing teams on international level;
·       Readiness for frequent travels
